Sales, salutations and salience were in full effect
ASHFIELD, MA – Although the fall colors aren’t as abundant this year – due to the drought we’ve been experiencing in the Northeast this year – it’s been a productive October in the home office. Most recently, a lot of preparatory work needed to be done for my appearance at the Ashfield Fall Festival.
After all was said and done, it was a very successful event! In regards to sales, it was my best single-day for paperback purchases and I came *this* close to selling out the box sets of A PENDALE TALE Parts 1-3. Salutations were had with a lot of friends and associates I haven’t seen in a long time. Salience-wise, my author brand burst forward by leaps and bounds.
This opportunity to promote my Young Adult Fantasy series to new sets of eyes was probably the most important of all. From neighbors on my own street to visitors from afar, I had many great conversations. Speaking to many local town librarians who want my books on their shelves was great. Also, giving advice to young writers looking on publishing their own books was a real treat.
I want to thank the folks at the First Congregational Church who were so accommodating and helpful, as well as the festival organizers. My donation to the Ashfield Citizen Scholarship and Community Fund is on its way. It was a fantastic experience! Stay tuned as announcements for upcoming author signings and events are in the pipeline.
